MONSTER MAUD A.K.A TAMI JOHNSON
I receive so much inspiration from watching campy B-Horror films that I eat, dream, and live it through my art. I love creating monsters as illustration or through fabric as a medium.
My monsters are made from new and vintage fabrics, buttons and ribbon. Some fabric and ribbon are hand dyed or tinted. Each doll is one of a kind and is signed on the back.
When I create a monster, I never know how they will turn out, so, I guess you could say each one is a little adventure. I like how some of them look a little creepy and twisted, while others ooze ugly cute.
